There are many possible reasons. It could be a nerve impingement at the neck, or elsewhere in your upper extremity nervous system.

If it is just at the wrists and hands, that could be carpal tunnel syndrome due to overuse, or a pre-diabetic syndrome, or both.

For basic information on the pre-diabetic syndrome hypoglycemia, check out www.hufa.org. For basic information on hyperinsulinemia (the precursor condition to hypoglycemia), check out www.mayoclinic.com and search for hyperinsulinemia.

shake 'em and get excersize.

Is it both arms or just your 'left' arm. If it is ONLY your 'left' arm, see a doctor for cardio exam VERY soon or go to the emergency room.
