Vote Democratic! Hey, you see where we are right now. Well, Give the Dem's a chance. You see how screwed up everything is now, Right? Can the Dem's do any worse? I bet the Dem's would talk to North Korea as they requested W. to do, but he refused, We get out of the wars, as W. Doesn't want to do, Make nice with Iran, like W. Won't do. So the opposite of W. is.....Peace

Be peaceful ourselves, in our attitude and daily life as well as in the bigger picture.
Be educated, knowledgeable and open-minded, so that you can see and understand the problems of the world.
Be non-judgemental and non-religious, in order to treat everyone with fairness and on the basis of facts.
And be assertive when you present yourself and your ideas, because if you - as a peace lover and peace maker - are weak and unconvincing, peace will have lost another chance.

Sadly I doubt there will ever be peace in this world. Maybe if ever last member of the human race was killed off. We are a species overrunning our habitat, competeing for limited (and dwindling) resources, we are naturally competative, and far too smart for our own good. Not to be Ms. Doom-and-Gloom, but it definately seems to be the way we're headed.

Ban all religions that would be a good start .

My god is better than your god bollocks.

Do you think if there was a god He/She would want us killing each other over who's god the best effigies/church etc

There would be no more waiko cult massacre or 7/11's or the recent London kings cross bombing which basically are my gods bigger than yours and i god guns, bombs and brain wash idiots to prove it

also the yanks got the right idea with the three strikes and your out policy every country should do the same but don't lock them up execute them especially child molesters and murderers

especially ban Jehovah's Witnesses

If you define peace as "the absence of violence," then the world requires a World Dictator. Not something I want, but it would end violence. If you define peace as "the absence of oppression" then we must wait for the Second Coming

Find peace within ourselves and then peace to the world would follow.

Try to come to terms with people who have dogs in our neighborhood. It ain't easy, they poop and bark and yelp and run amok; and their dogs do too.

But we are doing our part for peace in the world, by trying to peaceably come to terms with the whole sorry situation.

And the same thing goes for people who have pigs, and luckily pigs are not allowed in this city. So we just stay off pig farms and that takes care of that.

If only dogs had their own farms likewise.

When I'm in a pessimistic mood I think we (humans) need to evolve a whole lot more before we can let go of violence (which was a factor for survival in a primitive world). Ask me again in a million years or so...
