I don't quite understand your question. The existence of the Neanderthal neither proves or disproves the Theory of Evolution. Some other subspecies that existed have been proved to have no direct relationship to us what so ever. As a Matter of fact, People who believe the Neanderthal man was Man's Ancestor seem now in the minority due to fact that there are so little similarities in DNA . That includes those who believe in Evolution. eg. "walking with caveman". They just believe that Our ancestors come from another species. And actually out of those people who still believe that Neanderthals are our ancestors there are some anti- evolutionist. They argue that they were human( They believe their appearance was cause by severe medical conditions) the same as us. I myself do believe this is the least likely to be true but my point is Anti-Evolutionist don't challenge the existence of the Neanderthal. I am in the same boat with what another has posted. There are holes in both theories. While I have less faith in Intelligent Design than in the Theory of Evolution. I think there is a recent trend in treating any new information to be justified in accordance to the Theory of Evolution instead being looked at as possible challenges in the science community.

If evolution is real where is the missing link? If evolution is real why are there still apes?

Come on now. I've seen people walking the streets that could pass for Neanderthal man. All it takes is deformity, or finding the bones of the exception, not the rule. Think of all the normal bones that have been dug up, and compare it to the few neanderthals, or lucy, whatever.

I dont trust scientists to be truthful. The theory of evolution has just as many holes in it as creationism.

RE:

I think the creationists (also known as the people who believe in "intelligent design theory") believe that neanderthal man is a different species than human beings (which is true, it's is a different species). Evolutionists believe that human beings (species = homosapiens) evolved from that earlier species (neanderthals) but the creationists just seem to believe that neanderthals lived separate from humans (like apes do today), and eventually went extinct for lots of reasons (just like the dinosaurs did).

And actually, that does sound OK, except that archaeologists dig in the ground to find bones, and can't find any human bones from that far back in time, which gives the idea that human beings didn't live at the same time as the neanderthals, but came along after them. So just like a lot of things theists (Christian or any other variant) claim, some of what they say makes sense, but a lot of what they say just doesn't stand up to scientific scrutiny or testing.

You asked, "How do I deny", not "How do I refute". I don't have the knowledge that you evidently have on the subject, so I think you are baiting creationists into an argument -- thus trolling. But, to "deny" is different than to "refute", so here are seven ways that you can "deny": 1. Satan put them fossils here to deceive us. (A Catholic Priest actually told me this to my face, one time!) 2. Point out the flaws of the Evolution theory. There are many; it is far from perfected, regardless of what the Evolutionists choose to believe. Then make the statement that as these errors exist, that makes the entire theory wrong. 3. Somewhere in those Creationists journals is information that purports to completely debunk Carbon Dating. 4. Redefine the laws of science. For example, I was once told that "the third law of thermodynamics" states that "all things are in a constant state of decay", thus how is it possible that we came from less organized (single-cell) creature to a more complex, organized multi-cellular creature? (Now, do keep in mind, that the above is a gross misquote of the third law of thermodynamics, and thermodynamics is not a biological science). 5. Compare apples to oranges: See above; How can a car be made without an engineer? How can the pyramids build themselves? Can you tell me that wind and erosion could have created the face of the Sphynx or Mount Rushmore? (Note: These tactics seem logical at the presentation, but fail miserably under scrutiny, but they do make for nice sideshows). 6. Memorize and quote the first chapter of Genesis. 7. Say, "get the behind me satan, you worker of iniquity" and all those other biblical quotes Christians are taught to throw at things they don't understand. And, that should just about do it, as that is what the creationists are already doing, so there ya go. Oh, whow! Seven! Seven days, seven seals, the holy number -- Hey, I'm on to something! I wonder how much money I could scratch off the gullible with this .... hmmmm .....

Neanderthal man is as fake as evolution. Scientists are yet to find a Neanderthal man that isn't a fake, that's because they never existed. Why do you think it's called the missing link? If you want to find out where you came from, read the Word of God.

I believe in evolution.
The way science goes about proving a hypothesis to turn it to theory is by exhaustive attempts to first DISPROVE it. This way helps to stop charlatains claiming things to be scientific fact without proof.
It seems that many christians seem to think there's a big conspiracy orchestrated by satan via science, yet there simply is too much corroborative evidence and practical application of fact to say that, unless one is able to simply ignore the reality. Their only main argument seems to be the 'missing link'. Science does not claim to have all the answers, just the facts as they are, without bias either way. It is just as possible that ET came down and genetically mutated us into homosapiens for whatever reason, than it is that we will find the missing link or that there is a god. The first two options simply lack the comfort and need for 'something better', like an afterlife, that a lot of people need to help them justify the life they experience. An emotional 'crutch', so to speak.
Homosapiens did not take very long to wipe out neanderthal man, whether by design(war, for eg) or circumstance(better suited to climate change). Homosapiens had more intelligence, for one. That in itself, is evolution-survival of the fittest.
We DO know, that neanderthal man evolved from apes and could well have been sexually active with 'modern' man, due to some genetic variations still present to this day, a prominent brow ridge is one of them. But how modern man came to be, in such a short time evolutionary-wise, is the big problem for science, hence the 'missing link' hypothesis. That alone, does not show proof of god unfortunately, although in desperation, christians tend to use it as proof, as there is no other for them to use.
Personally, I like to entertain the possibility that we could well have been just an experiment for some ET's, come here to exploit the resources of this planet. To me, that would explain the missing link and the notion of gods, as to primitive men, they surely would have been! But science cannot be so loose with it's beliefs. They have to adhere to rules, conservative though some of those rules may be!
One last point, I wonder how many people realise that the idea of Intelligent Design does NOT rule out ET interaction, as apposed to a christian god? They still have to bias the idea towards a 'god' though, seeing as the idea is christian funded! Not many will admit that fact I think, lol!

What is there to explain? Neanderthal Man is extinct. There is no evidence that Neanderthal and Homo Sapien ever mated and produced off-springs.

Man probably killed Neanderthal off!
