Yes, with the right software anything that is deleted can be recovered with varing degrees of success.

its unlikely that someone can find it; however, the right programs allow people to access such information.

an easy solution would be to go onto a website like versiontracker.com (or) downloads.com to find a program that would completely clear all traces of your history. There are tons.

If you're using safari, there is an option to work privately, and one in firefox as well (i think)
