Two people are dating and opening up to find out if they are compatible. How is it that one can lie about such important parts of their being? They end up making up a person that doesn't exist. Do those who choose to lie not take into consideration the pain they create? Do they not realize the truth will always surface? Do they feel uneasy inside when they know they are lying?

People who lie are basically weak people who want to have a chemera of their own. Such people are desperate to have a relationship with a person with a person who is quite out of their reach. I would say that you have trusted the wrong stranger,.

Sometimes we tend want to be someone we are not. Our own insecurities drives us to lie, in order to impress people or to make ourselves feel important. Sometimes we are just not happy with our lives and not happy with who we are, so we would rather live in lie than in reality. Don't get mad at this person, but instead try to understand and help them out.

Hence, all the more reasons to go at it slow ... realities have a way of cropping up all along the way. Treat the red flags seriously.

It depends on what you're lying about (I suppose you really mean hiding). Not everything is supposed to be said, you know... There's just no point in telling things at times.
