"Be carefull, most Americans are peacefull people who just want to raise families and live their lives. But you all know we could take your dumb asses back to the stone age if we wanted to. " What is this??? a warning??? "Dont hate us or else..."?
"There is no one in this world that could stop us if we dedicated the full resources we had against you." OK, OK you're sooooos trong and every other nation should bow before your power?? Since when?
"Stop hating us. We don't hate you. " No, ha? Then how caome you dont spend a year without being at war somewhere on the planet, not for helping, because if you really wanted to help you wouldnt go at war with countries with oil or natural resources for example.
"All your hatred is doing is making it harder for us to understand you and your culture." Why? Are you trying to understand other people, you dont even know where a country is before your governments starts bombing it!!!
It'not just your governments policies we hate, it's that fake sense of superiority you have. The "Be nice to me, and i will protect under my wings "thing... The world would be better off without your "protection"!!! You say it's the governments we should hate if we want, but WHO do these governments represent? WHO elected them? Arent they the voice of the people, democracy and all or you have a war-indystry-dictatorship and just dont know it yet?

Don't believe the hype. Other countries, like america, have loud mouths out there ranting, raving, and screaming about Bush, but this does not reflect the majority. The majority are the silent ones that have no problem with Bush or Americans.
I hear a lot of talk, for example, about how the people of Iraq hate us, and want us to leave. Most of the people yelling these things have never been there and have on clue. When I was there I saw grateful people that were very thankful we came and did what we did. Most want us to stay until the insurgency (terrorists) are under control, and the problem can be handled by the Iraqi people.
I notice its only punk liberal minded people that slam Bush, and the war effort. Its only the punks that are too cowardly to contribute anything to society themselves that are doing all the talking. Its the punks living off the teets of their mommies, and the sweat of their dads that talk all the trash. You know the ones? They live at home, eat their parents food, watch the movie jackass and play video games. Punk kids that have never worked a day in their lives, living under the spell of the Democrat Party. Its the typical college student that finally opened a book and read the first couple of paragraphs, and now considers him/herself a knowitall.
You can rest assured, those are the minority opinions of the world, they just make the most noise. Just smile and pity the fools.

I'm English. Traditionally the UK and USA have had a special relationship. The UK was first to back the USA in the war in Iraq. But the arrogance of some Americans is making America and it's people more unpopular even in the UK. It's not just that we got dragged into a war that seems like it may be about oil, rather than rescuing the Iraqi people from an evil dictator. But the way some US companies do business annoys many of my friends. Set your browser to "prompt" for cookies. I know cookies aren't always a bad thing, but they are a form of spy-ware. Check out some web sites in different countries and you will find the US sites not only put cookies on from their own companies; but "third party" cookies from all their associate companies. Associate companies in the US often means a cartel that inflates prices and puts any opposition or competition out of business. I have friends in America and I hope English people and the people of the United States continue to respect each other and get on well. But try to persuade you political leaders and business leaders that we should be shown respect too. I've just been reading about cyber-stalking. Something I've been a victim of and so it worries me. All the information I found was in the United States.

I'm from America, and this question is a little embarrassing (sorry, not trying to bash you - just being honest). First, don't generalize the rest of the world. Yes, there are people on this planet who hate America. But that doesn't mean that everyone feels exactly the same way. The world is full of individuals with their own thoughts and ideas. Maybe they hate America, maybe they don't. And second, posting messages referring to other people or countries as "dumb asses" probably isn't doing much to increase the international opinion of America.

It has much to do with Manifest Destiny, i.e. the old belief that Americans are the chosen ones and need to convert everyone else to their way of life. Most other cultures do not wish to be like Americans. The only reason for living in the USA seems to be to work all your life to make some big corporation richer. Capitalism fueled consumerism has gone out of control forcing both parents to work just to keep up. The children are left to themselves and don't get the love they need. They are an angry bunch. Just watch the interview at the school in Bowling for Columbine and you can see the anger. Violence seem their only outlet.
Most other cultures exist for their families and only work to feed them and make them happy. If you work to live rather than live to work, life can be very rewarding. If you are an American, take a long look at other older cultures and try to learn something from them. Lose some of that self righteous arrogance and look at what you are doing to your society.

I am not an american, but I understand your feeling. It sure is a lot of american hate, but it is not to the common american, but the politics the leaders are practicing. America as a world police and so forth... I think you americans are great in general, so don't do the wrong thing and generalize it back the other way. We don't all hate you.. see the problem dude. In some way you are biting your own a$$ here...

i dont *hate* you...
i hate american politics... i hate american ignorance of the rest of the world...you are arrogant to an extreme. everything seems to be america`s way or no way. You go from being the bully in the playground to the spoilt brat, "you cant play with my ball unless you follow my rules."
you said "we are the old dog on the porch... you can throw stones at us" which is not correct.. america sees herself as the world police, you are the first to jump in when you think there is a wrong, but then this is only done when it seems to benefit america.

I have traveled quite a bit and must say that most don't hate americans. There are always going to be ones who talk when thay should listen but don't let them bring you down to their level.Anyone who has traveled the world will have to admit the USA is one of the best countries. We may not agree with what others do or say but to judge some one or call names because thay are from the US is not only childish but stupid also.

It is statements like":But you all know we could take your dumb asses back to the stone age if we wanted to." that do not help!!
Try being more acceptable to other's thought, feelings, religious convictions, way of life, etc....not everyone lives the same way you do or the way I do...God made us all differant for a reason..accept it and move on in your life.

Most people like Americans. You probably never been to other countries. They only hate arrogant people like you and your "you all know we could take your dumb asses back to the stone age if :we wanted to" attitude. You can go to war by yourself. I don't feel like destroying other countries to make people like you happy. and I know my fellow service members feel the same way too.
