Yeah. The only thing worse than being the idiot driving the wrong way down the street, is being the idiot that got ran over because they didn't look for a car coming right at them.

Maybe to be on the safe side. I know I do it, even when I know it's one way and I feel like a fool! But it's a hard habit to break when you're used to checking both ways all the time.

No, actually you should look all ways, for these days one can never be too cautious before crossing streets, alleys, or even wooded trails...

Yes You have to figure the 50 percentile (50 percent of people are dumber than you, well not YOU specifically, just a person) and people get things wrong all the time
