Yes, some of the them unfortunately do manage to meet up with children. The importance of watching your children's online activity cannot be overstated. There are people like those on Dateline all over the world. These guys are targetting children, not just looking for a hookup. On Dateline, all of the guys were informed prior to them coming over that they were meeting minors.

So, I'm going say yes, you should be watching your kids and yes, you should be watching out for these guys. I highly recommend that PCs are NOT in the kids' room, but a central location and that you snoop openly and frequently, and have many discussions with your kids about these people.

you should always be monitoring ur children online and especially on here cause 90% of the people in here are 12-18yr olds. and just look at some of thier questions. im sure there are some pedophiles in here.
