There are at least a half dozen munchkins still alive. They appear annually at the OZ festival in Chittenango, NY (near Syracuse) - the home town of L. Frank Baum. They sign autographs, shake hands with children, etc.

Much of the information about your question found on the net is up to twelve years old...I looked very hard and discovered that there is only one surviving cast member:
"We believe Meinhardt Raabe is the last of the Munchkins still alive"
The rest of the cast has passed away

a few munckins are. The Principle Stars from the Movie are all dead
