I really would have enjoyed living in Ancient Rome about second century BC, before men like Gaius Marius, Lucius Cornelius Sulla, Pompey the Great and Julius Caesar began to control Roman politics.
It just seems like an incredibly rich and cosmopolitian society...I'm speaking about living in Rome, not like the back water places of Transalpine Gaul or Armenia or anything like that.
Rome was the city on the hill, the center of the world at the time. Just a fantastic time to live.
I'm also making the assumption that I would be someone of the Patrician or Knight class, not a pleb. Being a pleb sucks, no matter what time period you live in.

The twenty-second.

That way, I'll have lived through three centuries,
and who knows how many beyond that?

Live long and prosper, friends.

During the Pax Romana (assuming I was a Roman citizen). Great standard of living; religious tolerance; confidence in future.

I'd live in the present, it's best. Wouldn't be able to live without technology.
