I spend a pound on the lottery every week and obv never win so what is the best way to invest my pound?

Save £1 for a 100 weeks and get premium bonds you could still win a million and if you need the money you can cash them in and get your outlay back

spending a pound a week on the lottery is NOT an investment and only a gamble. You would get a better chance of increasing your money (ie winning) by betting on a horse race. You also get the enjoyment of watching the race as opposed to the silly "release the balls" on the lottery

the best way to invest a pound woul be to get safe and a bottle or something that the pounds would fit into.then save your pounds everytime you get them regardless when you go to the shops and stuff if you get a pound in your change keep it.keep putting these pounds in whatever container you have!when the container is full (thats if you havent emptied it) count it an get bank bags.put the right amount in each bag and put the bags in the safe.if you end up getting say 5 pounds saved each week for 5 years you will have saved 1,300 pounds in 1 pound coins then you would have to change into notes or lodge into the bank which the bank will charge for and then you can spend on whatever you like

I would say put your £1 on , e.g. , Arsenal to win 1-0 every Saturday. They will sooner or later. You'd get odds of about 5/1. (i.e. you'd win £5 plus your £1 back). Or do an accumulator, say Arsenal to win 1-0 and Henry to score the goal. That'd return about 18/1. It'll happen sooner or later, mine's a pint! :o)

Tesco sell umbrellas for 99p, buy one and carry it around with you every day, when it next lashes down i bet you could easily sell it for £5, thats a nice profit.
