There are fallacies in our judicial system...and in the men and women who administer it. It would be nice if it were perfect...but it is not. This is why some innocent people go to jail...even more so with blacks. Some people are framed, many lawyers are corrupt...and unfortunately some prosecutors are also. All in all though, we have to strive to make it the best we can. Because it is not perfect though is why I am not for the death penalty. I feel it is a horrible injustice for any one, single individual who is innocent to be executed. And for all those who believe in the death penalty...what if it were them or one of their loved ones??

In many cases, the evidence is clear and the peer jury system works pretty well. At least it is the best that humanity has come up with so far in the history of the world. There are flaws. People are influenced easily by the media and mistakes happen. Most of the time, however, especially in criminal cases, the jury system does hold people accountable for their proven actions.

It's not perfect, but I'd be happy to listen to any better suggestions you might have.
