Well after doing the obvious like buying a few things and setting my family up financially I've always had this dream of going into a city and finding poor people or homeless people and just handing money to them. Just walking up to someone and giving them a few hundred dollars. No questions asked.

Or finding an article in the newspaper or on the news about a family that needs help and helping them.

There is a little church near me that I have watched being built the last few years. One piece at a time, they started with a trailer and now looks like they are waiting on a steeple. I would love to send a large some of money to them so they could finish the church. Anonymously of course.

Have A Good Day!!

I would buy me a new car. Not nothing too fancy but something reliable and dependable. I am driving a '95 Mazda and its giving me problems. Then I would set up college funds for my two boys ages 10 and 15 and then start looking for a home because I am renting an apartment. Then after I get my finances in order and pay off my debts I would take me and my children to some tropical paradise type of island like the Bahamas, Cancun or Jamaica. Probably Jamaica.

DH and I already have this figured out, just in case LOL!

First, pay off all our debt, plus my parents house, get his mom her own townhouse, get his dad his own RV (as per their own plans for their futures). Find & buy or possibly build our dream house. Lots of land. Set up two stores, connected to each other (one occult stuff, the other RPG stuff). Set up college/seeing the world accounts for our 2 kids. Set up a college scholarship program for Pagan students, no requirements other than good grades.

Once all that stuff is done, we'd hire on our best friends to work the stores with us at a better salary than their making in their jobs now. We'd just run our shops, not worry about making money, give the teen Pagan community a safe place to go for info, connecting, and help. Live pretty much like we do now, and let our kids find out just how much $$ we're worth when they have to settle up our estates after we pass.

It would depend on how big the pot was. If it was about 1/2 million, I would put a down payment on a house, put money in my child's college fund, set up medical insurance for all my husband's family in Africa, and invest in a small business.

If it was greater than that, I would probably split it with my 7 siblings, set up a scholarship fund for all my husband's family, as well as do the above. If it was really, really large, I would set up some sort of education scheme in my husband's country.

I've never ever thought about it... not when I am a broke freelance writer... $49 mil is the Mega Millions this week...

1st hire a lawyer. (Don't want everyone knowing who won)
2nd give 10% to charity.
3rd pay off debts, mine and the boyfriend's.
4th give money to my parents, my brother and SIL, my best friend and her 5 kids, my other friend, and my boyfriend's children and grandkids.
5th fix my house, replace the windows with energy efficient windows, the lawn with "grass" like at Wynn's casino in Vegas,
6th go to Vegas, drop a couple K, marry my boyfriend now that debts are paid.
7th buy a Chrysler 300 touring in Navy used, practical saves 5k,
8th find a cabin at the lake for weekends
9th invest so that I can continue to make money, give to charity, have time to write books, and go to Vegas, and other vacations.

No seriously I haven't really thought about it at all..

Build a small cottage on the banks of Loch Ness, we'd have a pantry to store our home made jams and chutneys, we'd have a pig and some chickens in the garden, a mooring for our boat and a small tea-room selling home made cakes and jams . We'd have a Landrover parked in the garden for off-roading.
