Have you ever noticed that a lot of people that are "stars" have a relative that is in the business? (Henry Fonda is the father, Peter and Jane are his children as an example in acting. The Judd family as an example in music. Gary Marshall and Penny Marshall as a directing example. The Bush's as political examples.) So I think a lot of it is not what you know, but who you know... I think the best quality that makes someone attractive to another, that draws people to them, is charisma - confidence in yourself.
