like rain4daz32 said put it in the freezer and the wax will come off with your finger nails the hot water thing is good too or a hair dryer.

half fill the bowl with water, put it in the microwave for 15 sec or until it gets hot but won't crack the glass. (this may be risky) the wax will soften and you can wipe it off.

Yeah, hot water, or you can use the plastic end of a bic lighter. It'll scrape wax off of hard surfaces without scratching.

put it in the freezer. once it is frozen take it out of freezer, turn upside down and tap on the glass, it should fall right out. good luck.
