What I mean by rougher is that they speak with less refined accents, get into fights etc.

It's a rougher life that they have to live. They are naturally more defensive when they have to earn what they get instead of having it handed to them. That's also why a guy who has to pay for his own automobile takes better care of it. He had to earn it rather than having it given to him.

Because the rich kids will take your wallet if they knock you out, but, the really rougher kids will also take your wallet... then piss on ya... and thats considered normal, right ?

because they find family unity in gangs because in most families both parents work and the child doesn't grow up with the family atmosphere that once was.
