To give an example, Hollywood which boasts of the most liberal setting has yet to pair a black actor with a white actress in a main-stream movie. Go to imdb and list all the movies with Denzel Washington, Will Smith or any other leading black actors and see how many movies are out there where they have been romantically paired with a white actress. None!!! I have yet to see Denzel Washington kiss a white actress on screen.
Note that people are more accepting of a seeing a white actor with a black or minority actress than the other way around, since historically women have been viewed as possessions and it would be blasphemous to see a black man possess a white woman!

people are still ping ponging between excessive political correctness and inherent historical bigotry, so the whole "interracial Hollywood" thing is just another facet of this. I think its ridiculous too in advertisements, you can have a black couple, an Asian couple, a white couple, a Latino couple, but got forbid if a black and a white person are married or something. but then the makers of the commercial are either not accurately representing the demographic if they don't have the interracial pair and if they do, they're being to politically correct. oy vey. double edged sword. its all so ridiculous, but so crucial at the same time.

your question is invalid....have you been living in a cave for the past 10-15 years? I don't want to waste anymore time answering your ill-conceived question.

Just to prove you are wrong, what about the movie "Jungle Fever". Did Wesley Snipes not have a white girlfriend/wife in that movie?! Yeah, uhhhh-huhhhhhhh. Did Wesley Snipes not have a white girlfriend, yet again, in another movie...can't remember the name but it also starred Tommy Lee Jones. He was chasing Wesley because he thought he did some crime but Wesley was innocent in the end. It is from the mid to late 1990's. I know Wesley KISSED his white girlfriend in that one...saw it with my own eyes. And as a white guy, I was soooooooooo jealous that I picked up the TV and threw it out the window from my 11th floor apartment. Man, I was pissed:-)

ps---you must not be able to read too well, because i mentioned TWO (2) movies!!! The other movie's name is "U.S. Marshalls" with Wesley Snipes and Tommy Lee Jones, made in 1998. Like I said before, Wesley had a white gf in that movie and did kiss her...imagine that! And what are you talking about "Jungle Fever" wasn't a mainstream movie? It was as mainstream as any Hollywood movie that gets a lot of advertisement on TV. What are you so pissed off about anyway, dude?! You got a serious hangup with this whole black man-white woman thing in movies. It's only a movie, man, only a movie. Get pissed off about something much more important than this. George W. Bush is a good example of something to be pissed off about.

For as enlightened as the human race believes it has become , it is still haunted by racial prejudice and bias.

It will remain taboo as long as there is bigotry in the world.
