Horoscopes are based on the influence and effect that planets and stars are supposed to have upon you depending on their positions. However astrology is complete nonsense and no notice whatsoever should be taken of it. The idea that inanimate bodies millions of miles away (planets and stars) can, somehow, send signals to another inanimate object (Earth) picking out inhabitants who were born on a certain day at a certain time and have an effect on their good or bad fortune is completely ludicrous. Stars and planets are millions of years old and in comparison a human lifespan is nothing. Why would they do it? Horoscopes are produced by charlatans and cheats who are trying to part people from their hard earned cash. I used to know a newspaper reporter who told me that horoscopes printed in his paper were made up by someone who had a great collection of 'dummy' horoscopes. Every day he would pick them at random and insert them in the column accompanied by meaningless phrases like 'your ruling planet, Neptune, is in the rise.' Please , under no circumstances, take any heed of horoscopes and, better still don't read them. Also write to the newspaper and tell them that their horoscopes are rubbish and you are going to buy a different newspaper that doesn't print such drivel.

Numerology is different from astrology.
Numerology is the adding of numbers and breaking them down to a single number and that number has a meaning of its own. I use numerology alot in everyday events. The number and its meaning are signs. I study signs.
Astrology is the study of planets, stars, and asteroids, and their position as to the influence they have over us. Notice I said influence. There is always free will. I study astrology too.
