According to the "Ferrari Men's travel guide" the only gay or gay friendly bars are in Bombay and New Delhi. they do mention a gay group that meets in Bangalore. The guide I have is from 2001, but I will copy what it says.
The groups name is Good As You they meet on Thursdays from 18:30-21:00 I don't know if this is still active since the book is so old. You could try the guide's web site www.ferrariguides.com.

There are gay bars everywhere in the world, you just have to ask around to find them.
