Aloe Vera is a plant which is a type of cactus or suculent. The plant is fleshy and has a thick liquid inside which has marvelous healing properties. It works really well on sunburnt skin and supposedly can be taken orally for other ailments but please seek medical advice before doing so .Hope this helps a little.

Aloe Vera is a plant that has gel or juice that can be used for all sorts of purposes. Mainly for sunburns.
