How many times are you going to ask this question? Here is my previous answer:

It's illegal to download and share copyrighted materials. If Metacafe has proper permission from the copyright holder or if there is no copyright, then it would not be illegal. But that's the tricky part, to properly verify if the video clip is subject to a copyright.
