Both player's style was good and both could handle the ball for a long time. You've got to remember Maradona started playing some 25 years after Pele, and the game's technical aspect had changed. Comparing these two is like comparing Wilt Chamberlain with Michael Jordan. Both were undisputed kings in their own time.
