Anyone who has lived in India and had to deal with any government department will vouch for the rampant corruption prevalent there. From petty beat constable to the cabinet ministers, everyone seems to be in the vicious grip of corruption. This is what bogs down the progress of Indian society.

will corruption ever be tamed in America? Nope. Why would it in India?

And since the society is just so big, so too is the problem. I don't see a way out of it without a hge social revolution. And I don't see that on the horizon in India, especially because most peole there believe they are at the dawning of a golden age brought about by a more favorable economic climate.

It's India or England or america..
if an individual person is clean upto him/herself...i.e. if you true to yourself, no wrong thoughts, no bribes, following the rules... any country can be without corruption...

there is corruption in all places... but u know, in nations like singapore, they just keep you quiet by their 'fine's and punishments...

In India, we need good citizens...

corruption cannot be tamed at all, unless our population is less than 60 crores at the maximum.
