Impossible to know, and it depends on where abouts in that town you locate it + how well known / visible it is to the locals + whether or not it's got any competition from rivals such as Burger King or whoever close by.

If you are interested in a franchise, contact MacDonald's.
They can answer that question better anyone here. One would have to consider the number now operating there.
Of course, the old adage, location, location, location.

I would guess that the population you site could produce
$40-50,000.00 gross annually. More in an "open" location.

How much you can earn may depend on how much work, how many hours, and how much labor you put into it.

I've known some that grossed $1,000,000.00 in larger cities.

I knew one person who owned seven locations. He was worth more than one mil. Until he divorced.

Not much...fast food franchizes are the lowest money-makers out there, plus for the first 1-3 years, new owners usually end up in the red. If you want a franchise,

Contact The Entrepreneur's Source at http://www.theesource.com

They even do personality tests to see what type of business you would be good in. They offer franchises in every field with varying amounts of required investments, usually beginning at $30K.

Before you ask, no I don't work for them. I know a gentleman that does and have spoken with one of his clients. There's no commitment upfront and they will provide you with all the info you need, including names and numbers of people that have opened up franchises so you can speak with them about their experience.
