so - to add emphasis
I am so tired, She is so pretty.

when - time, especially in questions -
When are you going out? When will I see you again?

Also to specify a time.
I will come to the shop when I am ready.

very - again for emphasis -
I am very tired. She is very pretty.
very and so are often interchangeable.

too - too much, too many. More emphasis, but often qualified by a new phrase within a sentence ( note spelling of sentence).
I am too tired to watch the show. She is too pretty for that part in the play.
