Give the bloke a chance! He has got a very talented squad to work with. Add to that the tactical nous of Terry Venables, the drill-sergeant in Alan Shearer or Stuart Pearce, and an easy-ish group (notice the 'ish' on the end, I'm taking nothing for granted!) and we should qualify.

If England play a disciplined, attacking game and do away with this negative continental shite, we will qualify and should do very well in Euro 2008.

Give the man a chance you do`nt know what he is going to be like as the new manager. When they have played some games with Steve as manager look at the result`s then pass judgement

Ask Nostradamus... he is the only one who can help. Seriously, it is England's failure to give the opportunity to the brilliant but very young England players. Forget about experience. Start giving experience to younger and very tallented players. The future of England football is in the hearts of young players like ROONIE and LENNON. How experienced in WCs was Beckham when he scored that scorcher against Argentina in WC'98 ? That is what England needs. I feel that at present the English team, is a muddle, a cocktail of very good players and players that should not really be there. (somebody please remove Crouch from that team !!!)

Probably some other money grabbing foreigner, similar to Erikkson. Given millions for absolutely nothing in return.

May be John Prescott
