I am fairly happy with the current plans.

The idea of just making it a park where people can mourn the people who died seems to me to be against the grain of the American Spirit as well as just too darn depressing. To top it off, leaving the area clear would seem to indicate a victory to the terrorists. I just could not stomach that.

I am also glad that they are going with a fairly unique design, and I am looking forward to seeing how it looks when fully built. Some of the more unique (And expensive) items had to be cut out, but I suppose those are the kind of compromises that must be made on a project this large.

I am not sure that the idea of an office building is so great though; I do not see them being able to get the building filled anytime soon. The news reports say that the government will rent quite a bit of space there, but this will only increase the difficulties of getting commercial renters.

Since many people feel that they have dedicated too much space for a memorial, and others think that they have not dedicated enough space, I feel that a proper middle has been found. :)

So, on the whole, I am pretty happy with the plans as they stand now.

No I am not happy with the plans for the WTC. I think they shouldn't build on it. Leave it as a park or just a place where people can sit and remember how it use to be. Or sit and remember all the people who have died for nothing.

Yea I guess, but I wish they'd add something to make it end up being the tallest building in the world. It was going to be when they first announced it, but not anymore ever since some rich effers in Dubai decided to start building the Burj Dubai, which is said to be taller than the Freedom Tower they are building in New York right now.

Look at this rendition of it and how it just dwarfs everything else:

i imagine you're choosing out what you want to out of this textual content to in high quality condition what you've faith. i imagine you're incorrectly employing the celebration of Hitler and the Reichstag. The Reichstag hearth Decree that took away freedoms for individuals befell very quickly (an afternoon or so) after the hearth. If the same became going to ensue in usa of america, they would not have waited 7 years to do it. i do not see procedures to be sure preserving the lives and safe practices individuals electorate as a foul element.

No. I wish could put a real nice parking lot there, because everytime I'm in NYC down in that area, I can never find parking.
