Would Bono create a precedent by letting people know how much he personally donated to help the poor and in turn influence all the other well off people of the world to engage in the same altruistic behaviour

put it this way...if bono and his rich chums...all donated there fortunes...he wouldnt need to give his time...as the debt and poverty would be clear...he does it for recognision and more fame...and wants to be seen as some sort of mother teresa....when really hes just an attention seeker...like the rest of pops eliete!!

Bono probably does donate money but he probably doesn't make it public just to boost his celebrity status like some people.

properly just his time for that's all that star say when they mention what they are doing for charity. it's a shame they dont give money for sting bono and geldof could wipe the debt Africa as in one minute

id like to see him donate all but a million £ of his wealth lets be honest thats enough cash for one man to live on theres kids in africa living on less than 10p a day (2and half grand in a life time)

bono is mint, he donates lots of money and is always helping out, buy his singles and donate lots of money yourself, together we can fight world poverty!

i think he is donated millions of pounds and ;otds of his time so he is a good person.
