You know, so many times I've heard somebody say "I don't want kids, I think I'll just go and have my tubes tied", or "I don't want kids, I think I'll just go and get a vasectomy". What these people don't understand is that damaging your reproductive organs on purpose is no different than getting a partial-birth abortion.
If you don't want kids, then don't have sex. That's the only way you can slip through the Biblical loophole on abortion. Birth control, surgical procedures, etc. fall into the category of murder.
A lot of other people say "Well if you're against abortion, then why aren't you also opposed to war"? War and abortion fall into two different categories. Killing another human being is okay, as long as the government tells you that it's okay, such as in a war.

Whooooooaaa...! Hold on there, Pilgrim... Just because the government tells you it's legal does NOT mean that it's morally right... "Killing another human being is okay, as long as the government tells you that it's okay" is only true if the government is your god... I sincerely hope that's not the case...
Abortion is the killing of a baby during growth from conception to birth and is permitted by the government... Try thinking of partial-term abortion as a runner being shot upon finishing the race... I don't see them as falling into 2 separate categories at all... They are BOTH murder. And, I'm not sorry...! My wife had 3 caesareans and got her tubes tied due to medical advice.

I respectfully disagree with your comment that these procedures are even remotely the same as abortion. Sex in or out of a marriage is a whole other issue but, if two people are married and don't want children how can it be biblicly wrong to get a vasectomy or have your tubes tied? Is it the death of the sperm that you consider wrong? Even before it reaches an egg? that is what these forms of contraceptives do. If this is the case then any for of masterbation or ejaculation outside of intercourse would be wrong. I respect your opinon but I belive that stopping unwanted pregnency before it happens is a moral and responsible decision.

So if the government says it's ok to have an abortion then that's not murder...well abortions are legal so I guess that means it's not murder. For once I wish a person like you would list the Book, Chapter and Verses in the bible that they are getting their information from. I mean "Biblical Loophole on Abortion"....what is that? And on the subject of killing is ok if the government says so...you scare me....There was a group who did that once...we called them Nazi's...think about it.

The real question is....why are you trying to use Old Jewish laws with the rest of us? Once Jesus came to Earth, a new covenant was made. So quit being such a legalistic busybody. Jesus said many times that the problem with the chrch elders was they got too caught up in the rules instead of the righteousness.
