Because you are under the age of 14 you cannot be legally employed (Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act, 1996).
Come up with ideas on what you are good at and maybe put an advertisement in a local shop, or go door to door among neighbours you know, (and your parents trust), stating that you are willing to earn pocket money by; Dog walking, Pet-sitting, House cleaning, Washing Cars, Grass cutting, leaflet dropping, caddying or collecting lost balls at a golf course, Doing a Shopping round, Baking cakes, Teaching older people how to use a computer etc.
Make sure you have your parent’s permission before you do any of these activities because there are people who want to harm children.

Babysitting jobs is all your likely to get hun. No employer is going to hire a 12 year old, insurance won't cover them. And especially if you are going to be away for a month. Stick ads in the local papers and up on the noticeboards in newsagents. Where in Ireland are you. If you are in a tourist area, post cards through the holiday homes doors offering your services as a babysitter. Thats what I used to do when I was younger.
