First off the well known food pyramid has been scrapped recently. Whole grains are very good for the body because they contain lots of nutrients and keep your body full for a long time. Experts say drinking the right amount of water is very good for the body as a whole, by eliminating toxins and purifying your body. The best excercise is to swim, if you dont like that you should ride a bike, both have low stress on the knee and ankle joints. Experts recommend at least 30 min of medium activity a day to decrese body weight. Muscle growth is also very important because muscle burns more fat.

Follow the food guide pyramid. It is the safest, most effective way to be in good health know to science. There is a exersize recommendation component to the guide as well. Just learn about health through this organization and put it to use.


The food guide has not been scraped, as some people may think. It has been redesigned, so it includes exercise as part of the pyramid. The web site has lots of info and this subject, so the well informed can continue to be that way. Those who want to base their diets off of real scientific evidence can go there, those who rely on unfounded truths can follow the wind.

walking is best

everyday increase the length and time, eg, first day do 15 minutes, next day 20, following 25.. till you get on one hour. Then you can go to1.5 or leave it.

After two weeks go to twice a day, morning and evening.

And other option is to swim, as above, more everyday.

Don't do to much at once, you muscles can can very painful the third day and you will be discouraged to Carry on. Everyday a bit more will be great.

DONT forget to drink LOTs and LOTs of water.. min 2l (8 glasses a day.. pure water not cold drinks or coffee), also to get fit: stop drinking alcohol, eat sugar or smoke.

Why dont you try something crazy such as Scuba Diving??? It is great!!

read the book the fat fallacy...... I read it about alittle over 2 months ago..... it completly change my whole mind about dieting... I now have lost 26 lbs. since I read the book and i'm not on a diet I have a new lifestyle. read the book I will help you

Drink a lot of water.(Hunger is usually just thirst in disguise.)

And burn more calories than you take in.

Put some headphones on and you'll forget you are even exercising.

Eat lots of fruits veggies, drink plenty of water and don't skip any meals...just do light exercise, but don't remain stationary for a long period of time

Eat right...exercise..
mainly..don't eat fried food and dont consume any soda drinks and alocohol
