I learned a trick, based on the psychological fact that we forget 90% of what we read within two days.

So, save time! Only read the stuff that "jumps off the page"at you, and is instantly understood and digested..

Use the graphics, charts, maps, and pictures.

Read the foreward, and the end of the book. Look for "Chapter summaries", and spend some time with them.

Don't read a non-fiction book cover-to cover, sentence after sentence. Most of that will be forgottten by exam time.

USE the book to answer YOUR questions.

Read as much as you can. Time 15 minute increments. Don't expect to learn anything in this phase, but only cover the material required. After you've completed the required reading, reread it again. It will be smoother and faster.

think about the job u wud absolutely hate to do...and just imagine that if u dont study u'll end up like that :) n before sitting to revise it will help if u relax and are in a quiet space..sit with your frends or in a library..while everyone else is studying it will make u ffel like studying...it worked for me...so hope it helps
