how does an ARmax work ?

my friend gave me an ARmax 6.1 . How could i use it ? i mean , after i select the cheats , and restart and insert the game , nuthin happens

ok now i did the start game thing ( resident evil 4 ) how do you get them to work ?? does it have anything to if it is pirated ?

I got ARmax 3.6. What you do is insert the ARMAX disc in your Ps2, select your cheats and then press start. It will say something like start game or something. Remove the ARmax disc WITHOUT resetting your ps2 and put your game in the ps2. then select START game. something like that
