Why are breast so heavy? Is there a way to make them lighter? Or exercise to support their weight? I'm sure A cups or even B cups don't have much of a problem, I like being a c cup but I wish I didn't have so much weight, by the end of the day the bras can really hurt your shoulders...? Girls any suggestions? Solutions? Have you solved this delema?

There are a number of ways to manage large breasts...first you should look for a bra that has wide straps that are made so as to not have to adjust them...mail-order catalogs carry a lot of them and they are never as expensive as in the department stores. sometimes, even, they are on sale (in the catalogs) The straps seem to stay in place better than the thinner straps which we're always having to tug at. Look for cotton bras and forget the underwires. Mostly, you want to buy a bra that will support the weight of your breasts and believe it or not, it is the straps that make the difference. The mail-order catalogs have some pretty bras that you can fasten in the front with hooks and eyes and they come in all different lengths, too...this may be another factor in making your breasts seem a lot lighter...

Of course, you can always have surgery to reduce the size of your breasts. My niece had large breasts and this can be hard on a woman's back, so she had a breast reduction. However, I wouldn't recommend taking such a drastic step. My aunt was a 40D and she used to wear corsets. She was always proud of the size of her breasts. Sometimes, it might even give you a sexy lift to wear something without straps like a bustier, you know, like Madonna!!! Believe it or not, you could buy those through a mail-order catalog, also.

Hope this helped a little bit...

After your mid-thirties (roughly) your breasts will gradually diminish in size (up until that age they tend to gradually grow), and then they will diminish more quickly after menopause, but if you don't want to wait, breast-reduction surgery is your only option.

Note that you cannot really change the weight of your breasts without changing their volume (cup size). They may get slightly heavier while you are pregnant or lactating, even if the size does not change much.

Wearing a good bra that fits you exactly can go a long way towards making you more comfortable.

Since the majority of total breast volume consists of fatty tissue, it is technically impossible to strengthen the actual breast with exercise due to the absence of muscle in this area. The area underlying the breasts, or pectoral muscles, can be strengthened and enlarged providing a little more support for the actual breast tissue; however, this would not increase breast or cup size
