When you are using the dry cycle on the autoclave, you don't have to worry about the liquids bioling over because you are autoclaving solids. The machines use steam for heat and pressure. the higher the pressure the higher the boiling point for the liquids. So you can get your liquids to the temperature you need to sterilize them. Something like 131 C

More pressure is built with condensation. It also has to release pressure to decrease humidity in the cylinder.
