President Schwarzenegger.
Seriously.
Let's consider the facts:
- Self-made multimillionaire and reasonably astute businessman.
(unlike the current incumbent of the White House...)
- Has been flat broke at several times in his younger life (...see above...)
- Charismatic (see... oh, you get the idea)
- Actually quite a cunning and skilled backstabber...sorry, politician when need be
- Strong connections to American political royalty (via Shriver family, offshoot of the Kennedy tree).
- Strongly aware of international politics, well-travelled and speaks several different languages (with a comedy accent in all of them, but in diplomatic terms this is a GOOD thing - helps soften your stance and persona a lot)
- Not as strongly connected to oil interests as many other candidates, though hardly an environmentalist
- Not afraid to stray from Republican doctrine over anything he personally feels strongly about (eg: stem cell research).
- A military leader troops would believe in (okay, so it's all Hollywood, he's a deserter and never finished German national service, but hell, it's ARNIE!)
- Glamourous, high profile and controversial enough to re-engage people who couldn't give a toss about politics

Someone who doesn't call other elected officials names, who doesn't spread unfounded rumors, who doesn't try to undermine our President or our country, who will support the war on terror rather than support traitorous leaking of our military and intelligence secrets.
I'd also prefer a Democrat, but the fringe has taken over the asylum, and I'm not sure we're going to get our house cleaned out before the next election cycle.
Enough sedition. We're cutting our own throats and trying to take the country with us.

Barrack Obama. He's easily the most competent man in the Senate. He could lead our country like no other. I have heard a mention of a possible John Edwards and Obama ticket though. I suppose I could settle for VP this time.

Well, Hillary Clinton. She is a woman and she has already ran the country. Somebody had to be president while Monica Lewinski was under the desk.

It would have to be someone who pretended to be corrupt
As elections in the USA are largely bought, whichever candidate that can raise the most funds by promising their allegiance to big business will be put forward by their party, and the most corrupt candidate from the two parties will have raised the most funds, and will produce the biggest campaign to discredit his opponent, and will be elected president.
A government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I think not.
God help America

A woman, for sure...Even though they're rivals I like both Condoleeza and Hillary, let's say the first for the tough but correct external politics, the 2nd one for internal politics.
