Go to any motorcycle parts counter and buy a rebuild kit for your carb.
Each kit has a breakdown picture to show you what goes where.
Follow the instructions and dis-assemble the carb completly.
Soak all the parts in parts cleaner for a day or two, then use compressed air to blow out all the passages.
Be sure to check that the jets are clear.
Re-assemble per the instructions, and make sure you put it back together correctly, by double checking yourself.
And be sure not to over-tighten bolts, it can cause damage in a few ways.
Good Luck!..

if the bike runs, try some carb cleaner in the gas tank. run it through with about 1 gallon of gasoline while riding around close to home. if that does not work, see the answer above.

get a book on your bike to know how to take it apart and put it back together. also they sell carb cleaners at any cycle shops but you can use any type of chemical solvent or wd-40 will work to.
