ever since I was 10yrs old, I've thought about it more times then I think about sex, why? because of the way people treated me from a very young age, for example when I was 12 I was bullied a lot and this group of kids(7 12yrs-16yrs old) chased me into a supermarket(asda) and tried to drag me outside but I held on for dear life to the door and after a few Min's(everyone in the foyer did nothing, some even laughed) the security guard came out and sent them away and then banned me for bring trouble there, another example a neighbour chased me in his car(I was on my bike) and rammed into me just as I reached home and I fell of my bike and landed on my neighbours car who was in her garden and saw it was more concerned about the scratch on her car and had a go at me about it, and another example at school teaches would always say report bullying so I did but they never did anything about it and after a while one teacher had a go at me for reporting it all the time and just told me to fight back but when I did fight back I was called a thug by the same teacher and got into trouble for it, so if back then someone had given me a gun I would have definitely used it on any teacher/adults (not kids who treated me badly because they didn't know any better but adults should have know better), and if someone invented time travel today and gave me a gun I would still go back and kill as many people(adults) as possible and if someone today told me I was terminally ill with little time to live and I had access to some guns I would still hunt down all those who wronged me, and I will continue to feel like that until I feel there is proper justice in the world and until we punish those who bully/oppresses others instead of punishing victims for fighting back I will never feel there is any justice in the world

Some of these threads really disturb me. The main reason people seem to want to kill is for revenge. These calculated thoughts of murder are the worst kind. I dont even agree with capital punishment. Any premeditated murder is evil of the worst kind.
I am more shocked at the reasons someone would murder. The computer guy who wanted to use a stun gun on his colleague for embarrassing him. Why did you need a stun gun? You are obviously a pathetic loser who could not challenge the guy physically or mentally and that is what you are truly bitter about. So you require weapons and think you gotta 'take people out' who get in your way. Thank God we have laws in society and brave people creating a thin buffer between the crazy people and the sane.
If someone kills based on self-defense in the heat of the moment that is entirely justifiable. I would do it myself with no hesitation at all. But only if it was justifiable.

Believe it or not, some people already have !
In our society these people are called MURDERER'S...... a full definition of this word can be found in any dictionary.
The only reason we don't go round bumping each other off, is because it's against the law.
Don't forget we are animal's, Its in our nature to kill, & if there had never been a law to prevent it, or we were all still living in the jungle's eaking out an existance, don't think for one second that any of us would not off someone for trying to take our food, our offspring, or our mating rites.
We are the worlds most multi-tasking killer's
plants, birds, livestock, ecosystems, each other, & pretty soon whole planets (starting with our own).
So to answer the question, we can't NOT think about it, we are after all the universe's best killers.

I have thought about this and possibly so have many others, the main problem is getting caught after the event!
The circumstances you have outlined would all give 'motive' and although I think the police are a waste of space when it comes to catching a murderer, its the first thing they will want to know! 'Who had motive'
So if we assume for example that a peodo had harmed your child, that would be enough to my mind to give the guy a good smack on the head with an iron bar one dark night, but the idea of being caught would be a deterrent!
Although you could state provocation I suppose, it may even be worth doing the time!
Yes very thought provoking question, you even had me fuming a bit there just thinking about it!

Oh do I ever wish that murder could be morally correct!!! I have actually come very close to murdering my own brother but before you judge you should know this: He raped me when I was 17, then tells me 6yrs later that I ruined HIS life!!!! What nerve!!! He also admitted to having sexual relations with a 6-7yr old previous to his offense with me!!!! Who knows how many others? I'm so frustrated with the court system in my county that I could just die knowing the best they can do is to put him on probation and let him roam free to find his next victim instead of getting him the help he needs!!!!!!!!AAAAARRRGGGG so yes I have truly thought about(and almost did)murder someone!

Well, I do think the world would be better with some people dead, but being a decent person, I can't do it (stupid decency, conscience..)
You never know what that person, is supposed to do later on (no matter how messed up and destructive he or she is) like Golum in LOTR haha
Well, and then, even those people are loved by someone and you have no right to take it away from them.

No I would never murder somebody for hurting me. I wouldn't see the point in destroying the rest of my life by ending up be hide bars. I also believe that you shouldn't fight violence with violence. I believe in what goes around comes around. I have seen it happen, and sat back and had the last laugh. If you murder somebody you miss out on that opportunity and also you let that person off scott free. At least if their alive they have to live with what they have done until they die. Murder is the easy option for horrible people. They should be made to reflect on what they have done, take full responsibility for it and live with the consequences of their actions

I am sure that the majority of people have at some stage thought of killing someone. The main thing is between the ones that do and the ones that won't is the sense of common decency and common sense. There is no law in thinking something, but there is when you start to act on your thoughts

No, not really. However real anger is an intense emotion during which one could envisage all sorts of punishment for those who annoy us. However most humans are also rational and when the anger subsides such extreme solutions tend to disappear. However we do need to protect ourselves and if someone is hurting you, you should tell someone or make an effort to distance yourself from your tormentor; please believe me, taking extreme action is not the solution.

Yes, but I would not do it, I would wait for other bad people to do it for me. The people I would like to see 6 feet under: Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Up-Someones-A-Hole, and anyone else who hurts others for personal power.

I can't even kill spiders!!!
Murder has never been a though ... however, a good hockey punch where I get them pinned up against the boards and then give them infinity amounts of "Wet-Willies" has crossed my little giraffe mind numerous times.
