Likely both are a waste of time. Just do it naturally with an high fiber diet.

Almost as effective but the pros get the little bit of stuff at the top out. But you can fast after doing it for increased benefits or improve diet. Site below has all that info on it plus disadvantages to using the professional.

Everything in bowel is stool. For people who do not believe in enemas, just look in a medical dictionary (mine is 2000 pages). It is a medical procedure done by nurses to help many people. Site below lists the instructions from med. dict. Colonics is not a medical procedure and so is not done by nurses.

A enema just discharges stool where a colonic irrigation cleanses the whole bowel..if you are having a problem then I would consult with my physician..I'm not real sold on colonic irrigation's because they work in a un-controlled environment and are not regulated..I worry about puncture of the bowel, dehydration and further problems..

I would definitely tell you to stick to the professionals. I get cholonics all the time. I wouldn't trust the home enemas. They only clean the later part of the colon.
