Well MAC is nice because its familiar and popular.... but you should check out fashion fair, Stila and Bobbi Brown (not the crackhead alcoholic its a woman lol) and remember Ms. Union is probably airbrushed by her makeup artist....they(meaning Actresses) wear a lotta more makeup a whole lot longer than the average everyday woman does so they are usually weighed down with pro products (MAC does sell pro products too to us everyday common folk). I hear there are a couple of drug store brands that are comparable to MAC but I'm not so good picking out powder colors for myself I seem to always get the wrong stuff so i stick to the pros for that. You can always cross brand products too. There is no one line that is an exact match for your needs. Take into account though some products aren't formulated for darker complexions (in my personal and professional opinion) so you will need to apply more product to see the true coloring sometimes.

You can get your own color customized with M.A.C. However, at times I use a combination of L'Oreal True Match C6 soft sable and Revlon Colorstay 380. I mix them together equally and then use Almay medium concealer and Almay pressed powder in medium (yellow packaging). And I always get compliments on how beautiful I am whether it's family, friends, strangers, co-workers and etc.

Almost all the lines now have make up for women of color. They've gotten smart because there's a lot of money to be made and they all what some. Go and look around you'll be surprised.

Well, I am partial to MAC, but Cover Girl has the new Queen collection that is made specifically for women of color. Revlon is good for their eye shadows and liner.

i imagine eyeshadow should be for evening time, except you position on glasses each and every of the time. i'm extra keen on water-resistant eyeliner/ water-resistant mascara for daylight hours eyewear. when you're keen to apply shadow, use colour in accordance on your modern-day hair colour, eye colour and the organic undertones on your epidermis. Seal the shadow with powder that complements your skintone. many women human beings of colour have awesome epidermis. So merely use somewhat dab of shadow as a spotlight. save the large flashy shimmery stuff for evening time. wish this facilitates.
