i totally agree and have often thought this myself! if someone in the uk were diagnosed with say diabetes, then they would receive insulin etc...free of charge, where as a woman has to provide her own sanitary care and you are right, for what they are used for they do cost a fortune!

I totally agree. we are taxed just for being women. but then babies i suppose are taxed too but they do grow out of it and even if we pay for sts i think they should be much cheaper. also some makers have turned them into torture by making the coating like a cheese grater. why don't they make them with aloe vera in to soothe? we need a revolution. if we didn't have periods there'd be no kids to pay the government taxes and provide pensions! we're bleeding for our country.

Considering you go by the name princess, it doesn't surprise me that you ask this question. Free condoms and birth control pills prevent death and unnecessary people on the planet. Free tampons, etc. prevents a little blood in your underwear. Do you really want your tax money wasted on something so trivial?

it is not our fault that we feel hungry , it is not our fault that we feel thirsty, whose idea it was that we should cover our body with clothes ? all the other animals are living without clothes & they don't look vulgour .if u can spend your money for all these things u can spend for your napkins. nodody asked u to buy expensive ones. it is for your comfort that u r spending your money. the government provide birthcontrol devices because they don't want fatherless children .

An answer from a guy. I think you shouldn't have to pay for them. Also did you know that you pay VAT on them which is not fair because they are not a luxury item.
