Hello Rosey,
I would say for the same reasons we Aussies are upset about that penalty and the same reasons the Italians are upset with criticism of their nation and the same reasons Portugal are touchy about Ronaldo and the Brazilians are upset to the extent of torching a statue, etc etc etc. Its the WC and emotions and patriotism are flowing. Not to condone it of course. EVERY country has been upset and waffled on about something. But as for Rooney, It's sort of hard for it to be intentional when he is not even facing the player(his back was to him as he stood) and in a scuffle for the ball. The referee had it organised. Ronaldo was not involved as such and should not have carried on either. It's just another joy of the cup.

English was always doing that.In a game for elimination for Europe Cup,England met Turkey. In game,Beckham missed a penalty-kick.After that,A former Aston Villa player Alpay Ozalan said something to him. Then Beckham gives him a tough reaction. There has been a little fight, not so big. After the game, the tabloids of England made Ozalan a guilty. They made English thought Ozalan was responsible for missing the penalty. They burned Ozalan's jersey. So Ozalan had to leave England and he never came back.So don't think about that deeply. All the problem is tabloids.

People who hate c.ronaldo surely didnt really know him and judging him on his recent performance.Obviously, the England supporters don't satisfy with the ref decision in giving Wayne Rooney a red card and C.Ronaldo is the big part of the drama. Thus, the furious England supporters keep on hating him because of England lost. It's ok if they feel angry and betrayed as c.ronaldo also a man.utd player but why don't u guys get over it..
The game is over almost a week, but the stories keep going on and on and it getting worst.Recently there's been a growing number of Anti-Ronaldo websites which a place to ppl cursing him..and it's bad.Although people keep hating and cursing him,he himself will don't give a damn, yet keep practising and improving himself in football and making more money.Don't u guys think u are wasting ur time with hating him??

No one is going to admit that they purposely stepped on someone's crotch. Why would he? He knows that if he keeps saying he's innocent more people will support him. Wayne Rooney=BOGAN!!!

because Rooney is their golden boy, the star player for many years to come, so naturally they would say that he didn't deserve the red.
