HERE, HERE!!! And that's ALL thanks to some of the bastard REFEREES, **** them...For example, in relation to u, Aussie Crusader, that LAST minute penalty given against Australia was TOTALLY ridiculous...and that STUPID penalty given against Portugal's last match was highly upsetting...Sense a pattern here??? Those TWO teams who were awarded the penalty shots are now in the finals!!! Now THAT's **** ed up and ironic isn't it???

of course it don't necessarily show the true result.
because if the true result showed Brazil would not won 2002 cup also Germany would not have won 1990 Final against Argentina
there are a lot of factor that may change the result of a match like the referee because like what happen in Germany match against Argentina the referee qualified Germany in that match also Holland match referee against Portugal wanted Holland to win but that never happened

See it's all about a game. But to some extent i agree wz u. There are so mant teams who actually played very well but besides players other things matter like refrees. So its all abt luck man and one thing for sure its hard for a small nation to come up like Cameroon and Ghana, almost impossible let's say.Korea played well too as well as Nederlands.Anyways lets see.

They don't show the true performances of the teams that played but its the results, the goals that really count!

ja, sometimes.
well, the real true result is, by definition, the final score, as someone else mentioned. but sometimes it seems that the true result doesn't reflect very well the entire game.

This is what I always think and always thought while whatching soccer/football. But that's how it works, the goals count and not the whole performance. Sadly, but true.

they did show the true result ...i.e. show the final score of the game,... but...not...not..necessarily show the true form of the players, true talent of the individual, combine force of the team and passion and wiliness of the players ....
