For a temporary solution: You can use over the counter products. I use Sudden Change firming cream, seems to work right away. But it feels like I have glue on my face. I also use Vitamin K gel for the dark circle. Some people as swear by Preporation H (not sure if I spelled that correct). If you are looking for a quick make up cover up-try a yellow concealer.

I also heard that there are fat injections you can have placed under your eyes. It basically fills in the the hollow boney area (more for rings that bags I suspect). You may want to check that out in your search engine.

You can always check with a vitamin store. Maybe you are missing a nutrient that is causing the problem. Once you solve the root of the problem, the bags should go away.

Yes, I think cucumbers work wonders! And I don't mean the artificial cucumber pads you find from the drugstores. I mean the real thing :) I've a friend who swears by tea bags, so perhaps you can try too.

Incidentally, I have observed a correlation between drinking too much water just before bedtime and the occurence of eye bags. So, it is wiser not to drown yourself with too many glasses of water before sleeping :) Maybe a sip will do, just to prevent dehydration at night.

In Chinese metaphysics studies such as TCM (trad. chinese medicine), doctors usually link eye bags with lack of sleep and the root of the problem: a weak liver system. Livers usually recuperate and self-repair from 11pm to 2am during sleep. Which is why people who habitually stay up late suffer from eye bags and liver problems. Ways to tackle weak livers (which reflects physically as eye bags on your face) is to avoid excessive boozing and habitual lack of sleep at night. If you aren't Muslim, can try incorporating pig's liver in your diet occasionally too. Other solutions may include eating more greens (avoiding excessive meats) and keeping hydrated during day time.
