I guess mr chaos down there couldn't quite grasp the concept of my question. Big surprise, he seems to have trouble understanding the simplist of things.

cantcu is the same way.

If you would have looked at my link, I asked a question, and people said they were better off under saddam, not fighting for their freedom. Grow up liberals. You look like idiots

Don't understand what you're getting at. If I say yes, what does that mean practically?

I am not living under oppression, and am not fighting anyone for my freedom. Iraq never oppressed citizens of this country...

If you mean Iraqis, many of them say they feel oppressed by US forces, and that is why they are fighting us.

If that is what you are fighting for.

I don't think Vietnam or Iraq had a damn thing to do with freedom.

If you think it does, try instituting a draft and see what that gets you! Iraq would be over in less than 6 months, and Bush would be out the door!

I don't live in fear of anyone! I refuse to live that way.

If you let scare tactics work on you, you are just sheep! Terrorist don't scare me and I would rather butt out of their business than go to war for nothing but oil!

What I am scared of, is people taking away my rights because they have you scared or hoodwinked!

It is funny you say that since Bush is taking as many freedoms as he can away from you!

I think that fighting for your freedom isn't always the best thing because although you may eventually overthrow your oppressors, you may end up being oppressed by your own people, as is the case in Zimbabwe (currently), DRC , and Russia after the communists took over. Unfortunately, the new oppressors tend to be much worse than their predecessors.

That goes without saying. To fight for your freedom, even if you lose your life could be that which garners the freedom of others.

You bet it is. Fight for what is right and die for your freedom if you have to. Living under oppression is not the way.

So that's what we're doing in Iraq now?

I thought we went there to disarm Saddam.

Maybe we should just go ahead and ask for the oil. If they just give it to us, then we can leave them alone already.

Secular terrorist state or a fascist theocracy?

The past looked bad, and the future looks worst.

They can always go to Paraguay, though.
