I'm 6'2'' and sixteen years old. I'm 137lbs. That is so light, but no matter how much I eat, I can NOT gain a single pound. And I eat tons. People get angry with me I eat so much. I can eat a whole package of hot dogs and finish it off with a couple of cheese burgers and a salad and be hungry an hour later. I still don't gain weight. What can I do???

I'm 5'6 160 pounds, 1 year earlier i was same height but 130 pounds. Power Training might help with supplements like Creatine or other weight gaining formulas like protein + carbohydrate shakes. Some people have very quick metabolisms which forbid them from gaining weight. Try www.bodybuilding.com for some better advice.

DON'T stuff with junk; even if it isn't showing on the outside, fat can build up around internal organs (including your heart) and increase your cholesterol levels and blood pressure. You have been growing like mad! thats why you have a huge appetite. I remember that time and i was hungry all the time and could easily have 3 dinners.
It will level out i promise. In the meantime, eat healthily and fill up on QUALITY food. Try a shake or smoothie for extra nutrients. Meanwhile don't neglect your exercise and do lots of bodyweight resistance exercises to build lean muscle and give you a balanced shape - you don't want to end up looking like one of these beanpoles with a fat stomach! Good luck.

I understand where you're coming from. I was in your shoes
until I reached my 20's. I searched and searched on the internet
for different stuff but it was all bulls***! Then I went to a couple
of doctor's and they are said to just accept my body frame. I
was like HELLLLL No! It got to be something out there for me.
So then I went to one more doctor and cried, cried, and cried to
him about how badly I wanted to gain weight so he prescribed
something for me called:CYPROHEPTADINE. He said that the
pills are really meant for rashes but that it makes people gain
weight as well. He told me to take 1pill three times a day and to
eat twice as much as I would normally eat a day for about two
month and so I did and I swear to god man that I was a first
a miserble 100lbs but then gain 40lbs more in about two and a
half months. I was soooooooo happy that I went back and showed him the results of my weight. Some snobby doctors
do not like to perscribe medicine to be taking for a different reason other than what it was perscribe for but the doctor that
I found was really cool about! Of course all pills have some sides
effects which your doctor will tell you all about but two main side
effects is drowsiness and feeling like you have the munches .
(What does that sound like)LOL ! Anyway I hope that you try it
because it worked for me and two of my friends. We used to try
those nasty *** nutra shakes and that weight gaining powder
from GNC but that stuff do not work on most people who struggle
with their weight. Keep your head up man !

You're young. Watch it ALL catch up to you in about 5-6 years. If you eat a piece of candy, you'll gain like 22 pounds ... serious

You just have to live with it..... be happy, it is a gift. You are just like my best friend. She is so skinney and light even thought she is like way taller than me!! No matter how much she eats... she hardly evergains weight!!!! Plus she is like continueously hungery and can eat so much.
My advice is.... EXCERSIZE!!!!! Excersizing will get you some muscles on those bones, and muscle weighs a whole heck of a lot than fat!! Plus who wants to have fat when they could have muscles??
I hope I helped at least a little bit!!!!

Not to worry. I am like u when I am young. I am in my 40's. I gain weight gracefully. As long as u keep yourself healthy and eat well. Exercise can keep yourself gainning weight in a gradual manner.

Work out in the gym doing weights before you eat all that stuff. That way the weight you put on will be muscle, not fat. And change your diet to include more protein (chicken, fish, etc...)

I went from 130 LBS to 145 in a month....
