I'm sick of seeing this term popping up all of a sudden, so what is it? I'm betting it's some new name for something that's already been around for some time, but people are just now noticing and labelling it. . .

It's a British term for wannabees that are less than desirable. They dress cool, but are still "street" (but not in a good way) "Class housed and Violent" is what it comes from although that's not all it is. Kevin Federline is pure Chav

I dunno, maybe it has something to do with a Chevrolet? Chevrolet-Chavrolet? Chav. Drifting inna Chav... ya think?
