Her name is Vanessa Paradis. She was a young popular french singer in Canada in the early 90's. She released her first English album with the help of Lenny Kravitz, whom she was involved with at the time. The album failed to launch her into the larger spotlight and she retired from the music industry to pursue modelling.
She met Depp and they currently live in France.
Depp is one lucky guy, she's fairly drop dead gorgeous.
