i'm not looking for a college. more on the line of a vocational school or something. i just can't find anything for medical assistants! is there a website that i could go to...to find like, companies, vocational schools, etc. that have classes?

Here is several suggestions...try your local hospitals (sometimes they give classes) local health care facilities (nursing or assistant living centers) also try the local or chain medical assistance schools (look in the phone book) With the hospitals and the local health care facilities this could be a class that is offered as part of employment so there is no cost to you.

Do a Google search and put in what you just wrote;
vocational schools, etc. It will list alot of them. If you add your city/ state you will probably find more.

Check witht the State Nursing Board in your state or the state liscensing bereau. If those arent sucessfull try the State Health department and if that doesnt work try the Red Cross or USDA...yes the meat people.in your area.

most of the CAN I and CNA II classes are done at local colleges because you have to do clinicals.
