To appear smaller, use an exfoliating oatmeal cleanser gently, there are many in the stores, or homemade. Then a pore cleansing mask, Lastly a Mask with honey& egg whites. Sounds like a lot to do, but not really. Don't use sparkles on large pores, it increases the appearence. Always use a moisturizer, for your skin type.
All the Items mentioned above are great for the whole face.

pores will be pores.....
you cannot shrink them, the bes one can do is keep them clear and clean. wash with warm (not hot ) water using an oil free cleanser. then use toner. splashing cold water on your face after washing sometimes helps to shock the pores into looking smaller for only a temporaty fix.
dont worry about big pores, anything that cant be seen from 10 feet away is nothing.........youre beautful

Use a good toner- that usually works. Just cleanse your face properly and then wipe the large-pore area with a toner by Neutrogena or Clean 'N Clear. Try to make sure it's a non-alcoholic toner though so as not to dry out the skin.
Also- microdermabrasion works (don't worry- it's painless).
